It's a known fact that everything retro seems to have a resurgence in popularity. The New York Times reports that the latest trend is a resurgence of interest in drive-in movies, once a staple of family outings in America. There are still several hundred drive-ins still operating, mostly in rural areas where real estate prices have gone through the stratosphere. The current virus crisis has only increased their popularity but the trend began even before the health scare.
