"Bruce", the beloved yet much feared shark from Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster "Jaws", has been acquired by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The 25-foot fiberglass terror will be prominently displayed at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles when it opens in April, 2021, where he will hang suspended 30 feet above ground. In the pre-CGI era, Bruce caused numerous heartaches for the cast and crew and inspired the documentary "The Shark is Not Working" due to its countless malfunctions during filming.
