Scarlett Johansson has been signed to play actress Janet Leigh in the forthcoming feature film Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, based on the 1960 film. Hitchcock eschewed the studios to finance the film himself, a bold decision that ended up paying off financially and artistically.
