Because of post-Brexit customs situations in these areas, many subscribers reported that they are being charged import taxes on our issues that sometimes equal or exceed the price of the magazine. Additionally, many subscribers also have to physically go to their local post office to pick up the latest issue and have to pay a postal service surcharge. Obviously, we have no control over these matters but to minimize the impact, issues sent to European and Southern Ireland subscribers will now be mailed from our U.S. office. While this will cost more as a subscription because of the international postage prices we have to incur, it should be less costly to subscribers than the present system, as there will be no customs taxes or postal surcharges that they have to pay. Nor will they have to obtain the latest issue by going to their local post office.
